The scope of these standards is as follows:
Table we 22-1-Covers Class I reels which are intended for general-purpose applications within the rated weight capacities given in the table.
Table we 22-2-Covers Class II reels which are intended for heavy-duty applications within the rated weight capacities given in the table.
NOTE-The approximate maximum capacities (in feet of cable) are given in the NEMA Standards Publication for Dimensions and Capacities of Returnable Reels/or Wires and Cables, WC 20.
