NEMA SMART METER SET

Description / Abstract: Provides requirements and guidance on electricity metering, watthour meter sockets, device data tables, meter interfacing to data communication networks and type 2 optical ports. Also establishes performance criteria for thermal demand meters, mechanical demand registers and phase-shifting devices used in metering. Test methods for transformer-rated meters and self-contained "A" base watthour meters are included in this package, as is a watthour safety standard. The package contains all parts of ANSI C12, as well as NEMA SG-AMI 1.
