This European Standard 50625-2-4 is applicable to any after use treatment of photovoltaic panels of a minimum surface area of 0,2 sqm, and as mentioned in the WEEE Directive under Annex 4. 'Treatment' involves handling, sorting, transport and storing until the end-of-waste status of the panel fractions.
