DIN EN 50679 VDE 0700-679:2018-04

This standard contains requirements for demonstrating compliance of radio appliances (i.e. any household and similar appliance having radio functionality) with article 3(1)(a) (safety) of Directive 2014/53/EU. The requirements for demonstrating the safety of household and similar appliances are very product specific and, for products without radio functionality, are contained within standards cited in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) in respect of Directive 2014/35/EU and/or Directive 2006/42/EC. The safety standards for the radio functions are similarly cited in the OJEU in respect of Directive 2014/53/EU.
