This standard defines the maintenance requirements of equipment and installations in electrical power networks. It applies to the operators of electrical power networks, particularly those of public power supplies, including High-Voltage DC transmission (HVDC). Currently not included are - Railway networks - Installations of end consumer networks - Installations for electrical power feedings. Measures for risk management, e. g., in emergency situations, are not part of this standard.
