This International Standard, part of the IEC 62052 series, specifies product safety requirements for equipment for electricity metering, tariff-and load control in the Scope of IEC/TC 13. This International Standard is applicable to newly manufactured equipment designed to measure electrical energy and to control tariffs and loads on 50 Hz or 60 Hz networks, with a rated voltage up to 600 V, where all functional elements, including add-on modules are enclosed in a single case.
