DIN CLC/TS 61643-22 VDE V 0845-3-2:2017-06

This pre-standard contains the German version of the European standard Technischen Spezifikation CLC/TS 61643-22:2016 which takes over the International Standard IEC 61643-22:2015 with common modifications. It describes principles for the selection and application of surge protective devices (SPD) that are used for the protection of telecommunication and signalling networks. Hereby two basic types of SPD are taken into account: SPD with only voltage-limiting components and SPD with voltage-limiting and current-limiting components in one housing. In this pre-standard the technologies are described and information for the risk management as basis for the selection and application of surge protective devices are given etc. In relation to the previous edition of this pre-standard annexes F to K are added etc.
