DIN EN 61000-3-2 VDE 0838-2:2017-03

This draft standard contains the German version of the European standard FprEN 61000-3-2:2015 + prEN 61000-3-2:2016 and is identical with four fragments with planned modifications of the International Standard IEC 61000-3-2:2014. The modifications are concerned with several specifications of the standard and with the test conditions for television broadcast receivers, information technology equipment (ITE), lighting equipment, vacuum cleaners, high pressure cleaners, refrigerators and freezers, portable electric tools, washing machines and induction cooking hobs. The standard contains requirements for the limitation of harmonic currents caused by electrical and electronic equipment with an input current <= 16 A per phase, which are intended for connection to public low-voltage power distribution networks.
