This international standard provides a method for determining how well a framed PV module 96 performs mechanically under the influence of inclined non-uniform snow loads. The test 97 method refers to framed PV modules as test specimens without a specific mounting system as 98 well as combinations of PV modules with particular mounting systems. 99 The test method is determining the load limit of a PV module. 100 This standard has been written such that it can easily be coordinated with the general type 101 approval standards for PV modules.
