This European Standard specifies the performance requirements for electrical apparatus used for the direct detection and direct concentration measurement of a toxic gases and vapours in workplace atmospheres. Part 2 is intended to be used for measuring concentrations up to 10 times the concentration given in annex A of EN 45544-1.
