DIN IEC/TS 61980-3 VDE V 0122-10-3:2015-09

This is part of a multipart standard IEC 61980 which covers power transfer between the off board power components and the on-board power components of an electric road vehicle (EV) with a.c. supply input voltages up to 1000 V. This part 3 describes specific requirements for magnetic field power transfer systems. The aspects covered include the characteristics and operational conditions of the wireless power transfer system. This Technical Specification/Standard includes standards for electromagnetic compatibility, electrical safety, operational characteristics and functional characteristics. This Technical Specification/Standard does not cover safety aspects related to maintenance. This Technical Specification/Standard is not applicable to trolley buses, rail vehicles, industrial trucks and vehicles designed primarily for use off-road. Annexes to the Technical Specification/Standard will give specific descriptions of each magnetic field power transfer system.
