This VDE application guide specifies the content requirements for the qualification of persons working in the field of AAL, i.e. the AAL expert (AAL consultant) advising persons on the possibilities of technical support in everyday life and assisting them in choosing suitable AAL services, systems or devices, the skilled person who is responsible for the technical implementation of the selected AAL solution and the AAL expert (assistant) who is constantly in contact with the AAL user, supporting him or her with all types of questions. The fields of application and the tasks and responsibilities of these experts are described depending on the classification into the German Qualification Framework.
