This future standard speThis standard specifies the general design and performance characteristics of dose equivalent (rate) meters intended for the determination of ambient dose equivalent (rate) and direction dose equivalent (rate), as well as the test methods to be used. It is applicable to beta and/or X and gamma radiation of energies up to 10 MeV and adapts the findings worked out by the discussion of IEC/SC 45B standards dealt with later, i.e. on personal dosemeters (IEC 61526) and passive dosimetry systems (IEC 62387-1 and IEC 61066).
