This standard contains the German version of the European Standard EN 50420 with requirements for the evaluation of the electromagnetic fields and the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) in the frequency range 30 MHz to 40 GHz caused by stand alone broadcast receivers related to human exposure to electromagnetic fields. The objective of this standard is to specify the procedure for the demonstration of compliance with the reference values for the electromagnetic field or the basic restrictions for the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) for the equipment covered by this standard.
