The document applies to the assessment of voltage changes, voltage fluctuations and flicker caused by equipment that have a rated current <= 75 A and are intended for connection to the public low-voltage supply system. It specifies the limits and the relevant evaluation and measurement methods for voltage changes, voltage fluctuations and flicker, which are produced by equipment that is tested under specified conditions. Concerned are on one side equipment with a rated current <= 16 A, that do not fulfill the requirements of the IEC 61000-3-3 and are therefore subjected to conditional connection, and on the other side equipment with a rated input current between 16 A and 75 A.
