The document gives recommendations for the avoiding of ignition risks by the unintended exposition of electromagnetic fields to systems which are placed in commercial areas and are under the risk of explosion due to inflammable gases and damps. Only the ignition of sparks by electromagnetic fields are taken into account which are generated outside the explosion endangered area and emit in this area. The considered frequency range lies between 10 kHz and 30 GHz.
