The document contains a description of the pulsed electromagnetic fields which are generated by an high-altitude nuclear-electromagnetic pulse (HEMP). According to the time the pulse is divided in three consecutive parts: Early, intermediate and late-time HEMP. For all three parts the spatial extent on the earth's surface, the time dependence, the magnetic field component, the amplitude and energy fluence spectrum and the reflected and transmitted wave are described.
