This poster paper presents a project at Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, to evaluate whether gas chlorine is the best solution for disinfection. The process involved: evaluating the existing gas chlorine system; determine viable alternatives; calculate capital and operating costs of each alternative; evaluate hazards of each alternative; create a cost benefit analyses; and, make the selection.
