Pasteurization and ultraviolet (UV) disinfection with titanium dioxide (TiO2) were pilot tested asdisinfection processes for the Taylor Creek Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) wells nearLake Okeechobee, Florida. Both technologies provided greater than 4-log disinfection of coliformbacteria even under challenging water quality conditions (very low UVT and high TSS). Includes tables, figures.
