This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of pre-oxidation and Cyanobacterial Metabolites in Taiwan. Study objectives are presented and include understanding the effect of differentoxidants on the cell integrity andsubsequent odorant release and destructionfor three cyanobacteria. Analysis included: cell integrity - flow cytometer, epifluorescence microscope; with dyes - FDA for cell membranes (Live Cells),Sytox for damaged cells (Dead Cells), andChlorophyll-a for Cyanobacteria; and, chemical analysis- SPME-GC/MS and SPE-LC/MS.
