This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of the MEDINA project, co-funded by the European Commission, that has the objective of developing an integrated approach for membrane-based desalination. Developed within the 6th Framework program, Project Number 036997, and is subtitled, "WP3: Development of Tools for Reverse Osmosis Fouling Characterization and Understanding." Results are presented from a nanofiltration autopsy conducted for the Syndicat Des Eaux d'Ile de France, Mery sur Oise Treatment Plant, France.
