This paper provides a brief overview of the Western Corridor Recycled Water (WCRW) Project and the technology used in each of the advancedwater treatment plants;a review of operational regulatory requirements, specifically related to the production ofpurified recycled water suitable for supplementing a water supply reservoir;the methodology and results of validation testing of each of the process treatmentbarriers;the approach used in assessing the water quality hazards in the source water to thescheme (secondary treated wastewater); and,an overview of the testing program for purified recycled water.
