This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of low-pressure membranepretreatment options for reverseosmosis including tertiary membrane filtration (TMF) and membrane bioreactors (MBR). A new water reclamation project,initiated in Guelph, Canada, is presented that uses both TMF and MBR. Characteristics of both processes are provided, along with key parameters of interest.
