The Water Research Foundation (the Foundation), under the direction of its Board of Trustees, hasmoved quickly to respond to the needs of the water community, taking a leadership role insponsoring research to understand the relationship between climate change and water quality andquantity issues, as well as the impacts of climate change at different points in the hydrologic cycle.This paper summarizes the Foundation's past and present research related to climate change andthe future research needs.
