Full Description
This paper discusses the use of dissolved air flotation (DAF) to cost-effectivelyremove turbidity, algae (and associated taste and odor), color, organics, metals, as well asCryptosporidium and Giardia. DAF can easily adjust to rapid changes in raw water temperatureand water quality while continually producing consistent effluent for filtration and concentratedsludge solids for further processing. The fundamentals of dissolved air flotation are discussedand examples of pilot plant performance are presented. Includes tables, figures. Product Details
