A second reverse osmosis (RO) treatment facility, the Pinewoods Water Treatment Plant inLee County, Florida, is presented and had the project scope of increasing the existing permitted productioncapacity of the nanofiltration (NF) WTP from 2.1 to 2.3-MGD through rehabilitation andmodifications to the existing NF system. A new membrane change-out is presented, along with RO expansion, new RO design, and process optimization.
