This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of HazMat involvement related to the following topics: introduction to site characterization;doing site characterization;where does HazMat fit in; and,HazMat involvement in site characterization team activities. Utility preparation for HazMat involvement is presented, and examples are provided of training for HazMat from WSI pilot that include: site characterization plan review; field screening workshop; and, field exercise of consequence management plan.
