This powerpoint presentation presents a four county effort in Virginia to plan a regional water supply solution. The multi-purpose project addressed water supply, river flow augmentation, and recreation. Negotiation of partnership arrangements, confirming affordability for partners, a detailed river flow simulation model, fisheries protection goals for intake system, infiltration bed intake system, design of project-specific mitigation site, and project milestones are all presented.
