This powerpoint presentation begins by providing background information on the Regional Municipality of Peel and the Water Smart Peel water efficiency program, that has the following goals for water efficiency: to reduce AADD and Peak DayDemand by up to 10% by 2015; and,to reach these goals throughdevelopment,implementation,monitoring, andeducation. Reasons for doing a water efficiency program (WEP) are listed, along with WEPs for different water sectors such as residential, industrial, commercial and institutional, and system leak detection analysis. Education and outreach, and promotion and marketing are presented.
