This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of the Eagle River Water and Sanitation District (ERWSD) in Colorado's Vail Valley. The purpose of this study was divided into two parts.Phase I involved:reviewing the District's water accounting structure and itswater use and customer billing data systems;evaluating historical water use and UAW information; and,identifying any subsequent studies or efforts that may berequired in later phases.Phase 2 involved:developing a revised water accounting model; and,developing a water accounting manual. The basic process included:examining trends in ERWSD billed water volumes; examining trends in ERWSD unaccounted-for water; examining the District's current water accountingorganizational structure, methodology and reportingstatistics;recommending near- and long-term improvements andsuggestions; and,developing a revised water accounting model.
