Full Description

In this suit, 47 Chicago suburban communities claimed that Chicago's metered water rates were unreasonable and discriminatory as applied to them. An Illinois appellate court ruled that rates charged suburbs must not only be no greater in price than those charged metered city users, but must also be reasonable.
