This slide presentation outlines Austin Energy which is located in Austin, Texas, and generates electric servicesand provides billing and collectionsservices for all City-owned utilities that include:electric service;water and wastewater service; and, solid waste service. The presentation outlines the customer cycle process that includes: the contactcenter;billingservices; fieldservices;remittanceprocessing; and,collectionsprocess. The presentation addresses the customer misconception that Austin Energy is a monopoly and can waive customer debt. It lists the actions being taken to manage the number of deferredpayment agreements and extensionsavailable to customers, and gives future goals.
