This paper focuses on the full-scale water quality and plant operational impacts ofimplementing ultraviolet (UV) for primary disinfection, while refocusing ozone for taste and odorcontrol. In particular, the impacts of taking the ozone system off-line for upgrading andthe impact on the UV disinfection process are reviewed. Includes 4 references.
