This slide presentation addresses how the integration of the PCU databases converted complex and messy information collections into meaningful displays for the employees of Pinellas County Utilities. CMMS (Maximo) and geographic information systems (GIS)-integrated decision making now give employees information about the physical locations (geographic information), attributes (characteristics), and work history on the water, reclaimed water, and sewer infrastructures stored within utility-wide databases.
