As counties and cities continue to grow, the maintenance and availability of maps for use in plants, in the field and for the public becomes a growing concern for organizations. This paper addresses how an imaging system is used to provide better cutomer service to internal departments and external customers. The paper demonstrates its use in the field, desktops and service counters, and addresses management's view on cost, approval and final recognition of a 21st Century tool used to provide faster quality service without the loss of pertinent information.
